Pretty Spooktacular

So, it is Halloween night and know that you're just chilling at home dying for me to finish posting this so you can read it, as well as obsessively refreshing Facebook because what else is there to do tonight? It's not like its a holiday or anything...

Anyway. Now that the mad rush of Red Ribbon Week is over, a new one begins:

-Jr High BBall game against Ft. Greely this wednesday
-Jr High BBall Round Robin this Friday and Saturday
-Veterans Day Assembly
-Canned Food Drive

-----THANKSGIVING!!!-----

And somewhere in between all that is Regionals for both Jr High and High School...I think.

Gearing up for a Gnarly November (clever, yes?)! Hope this month is as active as October was. Who ever said craziness was bad? Certainly not me.

Oh! Don't forget to wear you're class colors on Wednesday too! We have a tie for the spirit points that needs breaking. Besides, you scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Have a Happy Halloween guys!

RED RIBBON REACTION

This week is National Red Ribbon Week, spreading drug and alcohol awareness everywhere.

Student Council sponsored a bulletin board outside Ms. B's for this week that features not only some pretty scary facts about drug and alcohol (+ tobacco) abusebut a giant red ribbon too.

The ribbon is for students signatures who pledge to be drug free. "Sign the Ribbon to Keep on Livin'". Did you sign?

What did you guys think of board? Too much, not enough, or is it just totally out there and doesn't even make sense?

Also the glorious banner for this week, which we hope to laminate and useagain and again. Ohhh tradition. (:

Also, don't forget to dress up for thursday and friday!! We have some pretty awesome prizes you could win if I do say so myself. I'm a sucker for stickers, face tattoos and bracelets. What can I say?

Well Hi There

The beast. The powerhouse. Yeah...we are Wolverines. Tok High School Wolverines to be specific. I'm the president of this monster, Student Council, and this is our new website. Sick, I know. But the great thing is that this is by us (the students) for us (the students)....so we're NOT just another brick in the wall. ;)

This blog is now the home of legend. By the students, for the students, this will be used to keep everyone updated on what the heck is going on, all the time. Pretty great right? You now have your own personal feed to the epic going ons at Tok High School. You're very welcome.

My ingenious plan is to have as much back and forth communication as possible between 9-12 grades about what YOU, yes you, think about the stuff going on in school. Not totally sure how this ingenious idea is actually going to play out, but hey this is definitely a start.

Please, please, please, puhhhhhllllleeezzzzeeeee leave comments on any of the posts to give us, Student Council, feedback. I would love to hear what you have to say. Honest.

Student Council Cares. I'm Ruby Walden and I approve this message.

Enjoy.
